 FELL’S POINT OLDE-TYME CHRISTMAS 2009
This just in: Baltimore Orioles 1983 World Series MVP Rick Dempsey to light Fell's Point Christmas tree!
Hear ye, hear ye! A Miracle is unfolding on Main Street!Remember back when the holiday season was actually fun? Well, so do we in Fell’s Point. We remember the days when folks bundled up to greet friends and neighbors as they strolled from shop to shop, exploring the wonders among merchants’ carefully selected wares. Carolers sang in the village square as the aroma of roasted chestnuts drifted through the air. Friends could wind their fingers around a cup of hot cider while watching ships sail by. What would you call that scene today? We call it a Fell’s Point Olde-Tyme Christmas. The holiday season comes alive in the historic maritime neighborhood of Fell’s Point. You can shop day and night, savor lunch or dinner in a charming restaurant and take in the cozy nightlife in unique pubs and taverns. Fell’s Point has everything you need, including free on street parking and in three large garages. Say no to the malls, and enjoy holiday shopping the way it was meant to be.
